AustriaGuides are the only official, professional tourist guides in Austria. All have undergone extensive training for up to 4 semesters, passing both strict practical and academic guiding examinations that qualify them to guide throughout the country. They have detailed, in-depth knowledge of the highlights as well as places off the beaten path. They manage group sizes from individuals all the way up to large incentive groups and conduct tours on coaches, on foot, by bike, or even on public transport. Sorry, driver-guiding is not permitted in Austria! In addition to round trips, guided city tours, study trips and museum tours they will also plan and organise individual programmes for you to suit the occasion. As AustriaGuides are self-employed it is up to each of them to determine their own rates for the services they provide.
